Welcome to the Mae Luster Stephens Junior High Web site. It is our GOAL as educators to instill in each student a lasting belief in themselves, the power of learning, and the ability to succeed. High expectations and accountability continue to be top priorities for all of us at LKJH. We must settle for nothing less than the BEST! Success with anything, success in anything has one fundamental aspect – EFFORT. To achieve exponential results requires additional EFFORT. Now is the time to put in the extra EFFORT required to reach our GOAL. I encourage students to attend tutorials during school and/or after school, and work hard in their academics, so each of their performances will be marked as successful. Together we can make Mae Luster Stephens Junior High shine as an exemplary example of one of the best middle schools in East Texas!
